UI DEPUTY VICE CHANCELLOR ADVOCATES FOR FOOD SECURITY

The Deputy Vice Chancellor (DVC), Research, Innovation and Strategic Partnerships of the University of Ibadan, Professor Simisola Akintola, inaugurated “Innovation Hour” on the University of Ibadan-owned media, Diamond 101.1FM, aimed at showcasing innovations within the University of Ibadan research community with a drive to encouraging innovation and provoking creativity.  In an interview with Diamond 101.1FM, starting with the Innovations of the EU-Funded- Integrated and Circular Technologies for Sustainable City Region Food Systems in Africa (INCITIS-FOOD), the DVC (RISP) explained that food security remains a pressing issue affecting many households.
