Mr. Iyiola Olatunji Mukaila of the Research Management Office, University of Ibadan, has been selected as a finalist to participate in phase 3 of the University Support Program (UASP) Fellowship in Research Management funded by the Carnegie Corporation of New York and administered by the International Research and Exchange Board (IREX). This award provides an opportunity to spend approximately five weeks in the United States of America to work on specific university research administration topics relevant to implementing reforms at the University of Ibadan.

Thirty candidates were competitively selected across Africa: Nigeria, Ghana, South-Africa, Kenya, Gambia, Ethiopia and Rwanda to participate in the program.
