Ibadan Code of Ethics

The primary function of the University of Ibadan is education of which the teaching of culture and the inculcation of good character are integral parts. Ibadan code of ethics is a guide of principles designed to help lecturers, students and other non-academic staff conduct business honestly and with integrity with the purpose of achieving an enviable character and attitude in both staff and students. It outlines the mission and values of the University of Ibadan, how professionals are supposed to approach problems, the ethical principles based on the organization's core values and the standards to which the University expects its associate of all cadre to react. It sets the order and procedure of approach to issues and conflict resolution. It is broken down into various statement addressing different situation both academic and administrative. It is contains a statement of the position of the University about important perspectives as it affects staff and student.
The University presently has about twelve (12) codes of ethics.
